A Farm Given
New Life

In 2023, Living Valley Farm began a new chapter.

When the historic property came up for sale after sitting vacant for several years, we knew it was something special. After reaching out to the family who had stewarded the land before us, we were honored with the opportunity to carry the farm forward.

Today we are restoring the homestead, caring for the land, and raising animals in the same valley that has supported farm life for generations.

Life in the valley

Animals of Living Valley

Our farm is home to a growing collection of heritage livestock and carefully raised animals. From our Dexter cattle grazing the hillsides to playful goats and our beloved Maine Coon cats, every animal here is part of the life of the valley.

Meet Our Dexter Herd

Our heritage Dexter herd is the heart of the farm. These gentle, hardy cattle are known for their calm temperament and historic role in small family farms.

Maine Coon Cats

Raised in our home cattery, our Maine Coons are known for their family-friendly personalities and affectionate natures.

The Heart of Our Farm

Dexter cattle are the heart of our farm. Known for their calm temperament and hardy nature, these heritage cattle have long been part of small family farms.

Our herd grazes the rolling hills of Living Valley, where we focus on gentle handling, strong bloodlines, and raising animals that thrive on pasture.

From curious calves to our steady mature cows, each animal plays a role in the life of the farm.

We raise Dexter cattle for families looking to start or grow their own herd, as well as for those interested in raising a steer for their own beef. We occasionally have cattle available and are always happy to talk with families about bringing a Dexter from Living Valley Farm to their pasture.

We are a small, intentionally raised herd and do not always have availability. Because of this we encourage families to reach out early if they are interested.

Rooted in Care

We believe in raising animals with intention, stewarding the land responsibly, and creating a place where both people and animals can thrive.

As Living Valley Farm continues to grow, we are grateful for the opportunity to meet so many incredible people along the way. What began as a step of faith has quickly become something bigger - a place of connection, shared stories, and new friendships.

We are excited for what ahead and honored to welcome others into the life of the valley.

Leelee, our bottle baby Nigerian goat, has quickly become a favorite around the farm. Bottle fed and lovingly raised by us, she's as friendly as they come and always close by.
